Edison Pereyra

Edison Pereyra is a Dominican-American classical guitarist from
Hillside, NJ and a member of the Orpheus Guitar Trio. Holding a
bachelor’s degree (B.M.) from New Jersey City University, Edison
has performed and taught throughout the east coast and the
Dominican Republic and is currently pursuing his master’s degree
(M.M.) at the New England Conservatory of Music. He has played
for incredible musicians such as: Roland Dyens, Fabio Zanon, Leo
Brouwer, Paulo Bellinati, Clarice Assad, Douglas Lora, and many
others. Edison has also studied under the instruction of João
Luiz, member of the Brasil Guitar Duo, for five years and is now
studying with Eliot Fisk and Jerome Mouffe.
